1000 Mile Club

We are delighted to announce the launch of the official DW 1000 Mile Club. This recognises the achievement of paddlers who have shown the courage, commitment and tenacity to complete the race 8 times.

The qualification criteria are that the paddler shall have successfully completed the race a minimum of 8 times and, of the 8 finishes, at least 4 must be in the Senior Doubles Class. The other 4 may be made up of successful finishes in any of the following racing classes - Junior Doubles, Veteran / Junior or the Senior Singles. As a non-competitive touring class, the Endeavour event does not count towards the 1000 Mile Club.

We would like to invite all those paddlers who have achieved this landmark to this year's prize-giving which is scheduled for Saturday June the 11th at the Bouverie Hall, Pewsey. There will be a photo of this elite group and each member of the Club will receive a small memento of the occasion. We would ask all paddlers on the list below to contact us to confirm whether they will be able to attend.

Those paddlers currently on 7 finishes who successfully complete this year's race are also invited to attend the occasion as members of the Club.
