2. GMT
The 2005 race will operate in GMT throughout the event. Whilst the clocks will change to BST on the Saturday night for the purposes of the race all timings will continue in GMT.

3. LIGHT STICKS
Due to the very early tide on Easter Monday the Senior Double rule concerning lighting will apply:
From Sunset to Sunrise all paddlers must have an activated white light stick attached to the right shoulder of their buoyancy aid.
Please note that white light sticks last for a maximum of eight hours. You may require more than one.


4. PEWSEY WHARF
There will be no portaloo at the Wharf this year. Toilets will be available at the back of the hall in StFrancis' School oppposite the Wharf.

5. LATE STARTS SATURDAY
Any Senior K2 paddlers requiring a start time after midday on Saturday must advise the Entry Secretary of their intended start time before Thursday lunchtime. (From Wed onwards, please phone rather than email.)

8. LOCK ACCESS RESTRICTED
There will ne NO ACCESS for support crews at: COUNTY LOCK, BLAKES LOCK, SONNING LOCK, SHIPLAKE LOCK, BELL LOCK, BOVENEY LOCK, TEDDINGTON LOCK (ACCESS ONLY ON ISLAND). DO NOT USE THE CARPARK AT RUNNYMEDE HOTEL.

9. KIT CHECK - VACUUM-PACKED KIT
If kit is vacuum-packed in such a way that we can determine individual items, it will not be opened. However if it is in a block such that we cannot determine its contents it may be opened for kit-checking.
